Elucid is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our growing team. As our first Product Manager supporting medical imaging and image processing, you will work at the forefront of cutting-edge AI/ML technology. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and launch of image processing features that leverage the latest advancements in machine learning and computer vision to improve the accuracy, speed and efficiency of medical diagnosis.
In this role you will work closely with a talented team of engineers, data scientists and designers to define and prioritize product features that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company’s strategic goals, while leveraging your expertise in image processing or machine learning to develop product roadmaps, release plans and feature backlogs that drive product innovation and differentiation.

Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on desired outcomes.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including clinicians and end-users, to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs and pain points.
- Champion user experience by collaborating with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our medical imaging applications.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between development, design, and clinical teams to ensure seamless product development cycles.
- Work closely with Regulatory and Quality Assurance teams to define acceptance criteria and conduct thorough testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable products.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute successful product launches, including promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives.
- Prepare detailed product documentation, including user stories, feature specifications, and release notes, to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Conduct user research and testing to understand customer needs and behavior.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience and drive business outcomes.
- Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and customers.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably working with AI/ML products. MedTech and Medical Imaging experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of modern, agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, and comfortability with changing priorities and ambiguity.
- Experience with user research and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of product management tools such as JIRA, Roadmunk, etc. is a plus.
Elucid is a hybrid workplace with a strong preference for candidates to live in the greater Boston area. Boston-based employees are strongly encouraged to be in the office on Monday and Wednesday, at a minimum. The office is open 5 days a week for those who prefer to be in person.
