Position Summary
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Neuroelectrics, you will collaborate closely with our hardware engineers to contribute to the development of cutting-edge hardware products. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
What Will You Do
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct research on emerging hardware technologies and materials.
- Participate in the assembly and testing of prototypes.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation for hardware projects.
- Conduct tests and experiments to validate mechanical performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Engage in team meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
What Do You Need
Must have:
- Currently pursuing a degree or Master’s in mechanical, industrial, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to sign an internship agreement with your current university/institute and our company.
- Experience in engineering software such as Solidworks (or similar) and data analysis tools.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies.
- Familiarity with hardware assembly and testing.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Bonus points:
- Prior internship or project experience in a hardware development role.
- Experience with chemical processes and material characterization.
- Familiarity with EEG sensors design and characterization.
- Exposure to Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis.
