Digital Diagnostics is looking for a Test Software Engineering Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage a team of test engineers, ensuring that our solutions are scalable and sustainable. You will help grow the team by promoting best practices, supporting, and contributing to key projects, and mentoring engineers. Additionally, you will:
- Deliver robust, comprehensive, maintainable software testing for a software medical device
- Collaborate across scrum teams to drive shared processes and tooling to meet business goals
- Work day-to-day in a multi-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build our diagnostic platform
- Monitor, test, and continuously optimize your designs
- Support process improvement and quality systems
- Share knowledge, promote best practices, and collaborate product and engineering leaders
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Experience managing a team of test engineers and coordinating test schedules to support product delivery timelines
- Five or more years of experience in modern C#, JavaScript, and/or Python coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques
- You should have some knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS. Ideally, you are familiar with React and its extensive ecosystem as well as tooling using JavaScript and TypeScript
- You have experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery, and automated testing; comfortable using tools like Postman, Cypress, and Appium for testing web and desktop applications
- Experience or interest working in a highly regulated industry like healthcare; ideally, experience working with medical devices and electronic data interfaces like HL7
- You care deeply about usability, accessibility, and performance
- Experience writing and deploying test suites use on cloud hosting, including infrastructure as a service framework and the page object model design pattern
- You are experienced working further up the web stack with systems like web servers, reverse proxies, and various caching mechanisms. You understand how web clients and web servers interact with one another, and how to optimize that communication based on various use cases
- You are comfortable working in an agile environment and are comfortable challenging yourself and your team to improve their ways of working. You are adaptable and inventive, able to develop effective solutions to problems
