The Opportunity:
This Research Associate position will contribute to Neurotechnology projects within the Institute for Integrated Micro and Nano Systems (IMNS) at the University of Edinburgh, which are funded by Wellcome Trust and in collaboration with colleagues at the Discovery Brain Science in University of Edinburgh.
This role is UE007 and is available on a fixed term basis for up to 24 months.

Your skills and attributes for success:
- A good undergraduate degree and a PhD in electronics or a related area
- Experience in delivering research project results; i.e. a record of peer-reviewed journal and conference papers in a relevant area.
- Capable of working independently, exercising a high degree of initiative and demonstrating a pro-active and flexible approach to work.
- Experience in handling and designing sensors (PCB, firmware, CMOS circuits etc.)
