Salary Range:$85,000.00 To 105,000.00 Annually

Furthermore, we are a multidisciplinary team, comprised of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Kinesiologists, Clinical Counsellors, and Rehabilitation Assistants. Our team of clinicians utilize a broad range of skills working with trauma, concussion & brain injury, chronic pain, PTSD, and a range of neurological conditions to deliver client-centered care with the aim of improving the client’s quality of life.

We are currently looking for a Registered Occupational Therapist who aligns with our purpose and core values. 

 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Currently registered and in good standing with College of Occupational Therapists of BC (COTBC)
  • Master’s Degree (Required) – MSc, MOT 
  • 2+ years experience preferred
  • Clinical experience with post-concussion, neurological populations, and mental health challenges an asset
  • Must have an active driver’s license (Class 5) and own vehicle to drive
  • Ability to do work in the clinic and in the community (e.g., home visits, job site visits, community walks with a client)
  • Previous experience with ICBC, LTD, and/or WorkSafeBC (e.g., OT Services, ECAT) referrals an asset
  • 1-year experience in a Return to Work setting an asset
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills; strong interpersonal skills

 

What You Can Expect:

  • Full time or part time positions available – employee or contractor position options
  • Providing care to clients presenting with various injuries and conditions
  • Active participation in team conferences/ rounds involving clients and interdisciplinary team members
  • Independently manage caseload with support from team lead and admin
  • Provide and carry out consultation and treatment plans to clients
  • Provide ongoing support for clients
  • Maintenance of accurate electronic clinical records
  • Regular communication and collaboration with health team members (internally and externally) and referral sources
  • Quality report writing
  • Ongoing involvement in professional development independently and with the team
  • Other duties as required
