Job Overview

The UC College of Medicine, Neuroscience Graduate Program is recruiting a full-time Program Manager. This position will manage, design, develop, modify, and present programs. under general supervision from a designated administrator.
This position is located UC’s Medical Sciences Building (MSB).
This position will offer flexibility for a hybrid remote schedule for applicants with a residence within OH/IN/KY. Hybrid remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies and the approval of program directors.
Essential Functions
- Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
- Implement policies and procedures.
- Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports.
- Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
- May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Three (3) years of relevant experience.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- May require at least one (1) year of supervision.
- Experience must be in program development or business administration.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
