About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Project Manager to join our marketing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful, on-time execution and delivery of marketing initiatives and campaigns, including defining and developing project plans and timelines. You are an excellent communicator and proactive problem solver who thrives in a cross-collaborative and deadline driven environment.

You will partner with both internal and external teams to drive projects to completion, mastering a full picture understanding of scope and requirements, with the ability to reprioritize as needed. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, and possess a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability for their projects, seeing them through to completion.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the commercial team to understand their needs and manage marketing initiatives that support lead generation, client activation, partnerships, and revenue growth
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams (commercial, marketing, and creative) to ensure alignment on project goals and deadlines
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates for projects and participate in deal committees to represent the marketing team
  • Lead all project management (PMP) work for the marketing team, including developing and executing comprehensive project plans that leverage various channels, including digital, content, events, and more
  • Prepare project schedules and develop milestones necessary to successfully complete projects in concert with initiative owners
  • Obtain project plans and specifications, determining their completeness and consistency
  • Be the advocate for all necessary reviews and approvals, including resolving regulatory requirements as necessary
  • Manage project components and necessary procurement within the project’s budget, staying consistent with the project delivery schedule
  • Oversee multiple work streams simultaneously, and support the team to meet deadlines
  • Responsible for helping source, consider, and review freelancers, agency partners, and other external service providers.
  • Support the commercial sales and marketing teams in conference sponsorships, including making sure deliverables are fulfilled and sales materials are prepared
  • Support senior marketing and sales leads in preparing materials for meetings
  • Support marketing operations by finding efficiencies in processes across the sales and marketing teams

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience, at least 2 years at a digital healthcare organization preferred (ideally within a full service marketing team)
  • Passion for managing processes to achieve challenging goals
  • Extensive client-facing and stakeholder management experience
  • Outstanding attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing creative briefs for brand teams
  • Experience with Asana, Google workspace suite, + Confluence
  • Basic understanding of contractual language and concepts and how to protect the company while providing quality service to stakeholders
  • Able to proactively identify/assess risks in the project plan
  • Effective working as a team member to achieve organizational and customer goals
  • Comfortable performing within a remote working environment and adept at navigating various working styles
