We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to work on the development of our Software Platform. You will be responsible for driving the development of a clinical data platform and patient registry. This platform is critical for processing and interpreting brain data, serving as a foundation for developing advanced, personalized neurotherapeutic applications. Your work will ensure seamless integration and deployment of these cutting-edge neurological applications, contributing significantly to our mission of transforming neurotechnology and individualized brain health care.

 

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop a clinical data science platform integrating advanced analysis and visualization tools.
  • Lead the creation of pre-processing, analysis, and visualization tools for complex brain data.
  • Ensure software compatibility with neuroimaging and medical data standards (e.g. BIDS, MNE).
  • Architect and develop a patient registry, focusing on data collection, organization, and accessibility.
  • Work with the internal technical team in implementing software solutions, fostering an open-source and community-driven ethos.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BS with 3 years of work experience or a PhD in Computer Science, Neuroscience or related field
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, and MATLAB
  • Experience with javascript is preferred
  • Familiarity in machine learning, image processing, and signal processing. Specific experience with relevant packages such as Tensorflow, SciPy and Pandas is preferred.Experience with GUI developmentExperience working within agile software development teams.
  • Familiarity with Fourier transforms, filters, and time-frequency analysis for signal processing.
  • Experience with real-time signal processing and image segmentation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with standards for medical software is preferred.

$170,000 – $270,000 a year
