Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and flexible Hardware Test Intern who is hands-on and excited to jump into a variety of roles as needed. The job will involve a variety of hardware testing including – functional and experimental testing of in-house prototype integrated circuits (ICs), printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other off-the-shelf components. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about integrated circuit design and hardware testing in a lab environment.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Participate in verification of RF/Analog Integrated Circuit designs for low noise sensor applications
•  Take data of test circuits on ICs and PCBs using both standard measurement hardware as well as custom-built systems
•  Analyze data and collaborate with team members to determine next experimental steps
•  Document and present simulation/testing results to the team

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree program in the field of Electrical Engineering
•  Experience with Cadence IC design tools
•  RF or Analog circuit experience in design and test
•  Hands-on experience in a laboratory or engineering environment
•  Strong written and oral communication skills
