Zander Labs is a leader in neuroadaptive technology, pioneering innovative solutions to enhance human-computer interaction. We are embarking on the NAFAS project, a landmark 30 million EUR initiative set to revolutionize the field.

 

We are looking for a skilled biosignal data analyst to join our scientific team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and evaluating novel data processing methods and for executing well-defined analysis protocols. The main focus will be on the analysis of multichannel electrical brain activity recordings (electroencephalography, EEG), and the occasional analysis of various biophysiological data (e.g. photoplethysmography, pupillometry, electromyography).

 

The tasks for this position are (among others):

  • Execution of analysis protocols for EEG preprocessing, including, filtering, artefact rejection, visual inspection, and data scoring.
  • Exploration of novel biosignal processing methods and their applicability to EEG analysis.
  • Feasibility assessment of signal processing methods from other domains.
  • Assistance to ongoing data collection efforts.
  • Preparation and presentation of (batch) analysis results.
  • Creation and/or update of large databases of processed data

 

Job requirements

  • Proven experience as biosignal analyst, with emphasis on EEG analysis
  • Studies in biomedical sciences, neuroscience, or a similar discipline (BSc and up)
  • Experience with MATLAB/Python programming languages
  • Experience with EEGLAB or MNE Python is a plus
  • Experience with EEG data collection is a plus
  • Familiarity with brain-computer interface technology is desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Command (written and spoken) of English language is a plus
