We, Ruten Inc. are creating the future of brain-machine interfaces (BMI) which aim to rebuild bodily functions lost due to various diseases and accidents, especially the conditions that have a vast suffering population but not well acknowledged in BMI community to help patients improve quality of life and regain independence for the better world.

Description:

Ruten Inc. is seeking accomplished and ambitious candidates with a record of outstanding experience for the positions to work in Tokyo in the area of machine learning for both interns and contractors which will lead to full time benefit eligible employees.

Machine learning specialist / data scientist in this role will work collaboratively with our team members to develop systems for neurophysiological experiments, analyze data, analyze data, and improve the performance of our algorithms.

Key qualifications:

1. Evidence of exceptional ability in data science, machine learning, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of academic or industry experience in data science, machine learning, biomedical engineering,
3. A strong understanding of the scientific method and engineering first principles.
4. A strong record of accomplishment in their field, including publications, presentations, patents, engagement in professional business projects and contracts, and notable participation in competitions such as Kaggle.
5. Proficiency with Python or Matlab for time-series/high-dimensional data analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Proficiency with AWS or other cloud services to develop data pipeline and perform data analysis using modern statistical inference and machine learning.
2. Experience with in vivo electrophysiology recordings.
3. Experience with neurophysiological data analysis.
4. Experience with developing real-time GPU or FPGA based closed-loop systems.

Pay Transparency:

Base salary range:

• Interns: Up to ￥150,000 per month for up to 6 or 12 months before being considered for a full-time contractor or employee with benefits. Expected to work 15-20 hours per week.
• Contractors/employees: Based on the qualifications and experience.

機械学習エンジニア・データサイエンティスト

説明：チームメンバーと協力して、神経生理学的実験のための周辺システムの開発、データ解析、アルゴリズムの開発に取り組みます。

必須スキル：

• データサイエンス、機械学習、生物医学工学、または関連分野における卓越した能力
• アカデミアまたはインダストリーにおいて、データサイエンス、機械学習、生物医学工学に関する2年以上の経験
• 科学的手法と工学の基本原則への深い理解
• 自身の研究に関する論文や発表、特許などといった顕著な成果物。または、事業経験やKaggleなどのコンペティションにおける優秀な成績
• PythonまたはMATLABの習熟（時系列/高次元データの解析が問題なくできるレベル）

あると好ましいスキル：

• AWSまたは他のクラウドサービスを用いて、データ解析のためのパイプラインを構築し、最新の統計推論や機械学習を使用したデータ解析ができること
• インビボでの電気生理学の記録経験
• 神経生理学データの解析経験
• GPUやFPGAを用いたリアルタイムのクローズドループシステムの開発経験

給与体系

インターン： 最長6ヶ月または12ヶ月間、月給150,000円。週15～20時間勤務。

契約社員／従業員： 資格と経験に基づく。
