We, Ruten Inc. are creating the future of brain-machine interfaces (BMI) which aim to rebuild bodily functions lost due to various diseases and accidents, especially the conditions that have a vast suffering population but not well acknowledged in BMI community to help patients improve quality of life and regain independence for the better world.

Description:

Ruten Inc. is seeking accomplished and ambitious candidates with a record of outstanding experience for the positions to work in Tokyo in the areas of neuroscience and neural engineering for both interns and contractors which will lead to full time benefit eligible employees.

Neural engineer/Neuroscientist in this role will work collaboratively with our team members to design, execute, and interpret neurophysiological experiments.

Key qualifications:

1. Evidence of exceptional ability in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of academic or industry experience in neurobiology, including experimental and analytical design and neurophysiological data collection.
3. A strong understanding of the scientific method and engineering first principles.
4. A strong record of accomplishment in their field, including publications, presentations, and patents.
5. Proficiency with Python or Matlab for physiological data analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Experience building and programing experimental instrumentation.
2. Experience with modern statistical inference and machine learning.
3. Experience with AWS or other cloud services for data analysis.
4. Experience with in vivo electrophysiology and awake behaving recordings.
5. Experience developing behavioral paradigms in sensorimotor electrophysiology experiments.

Pay Transparency:

Base salary range:

• Interns: Up to ￥150,000 per month for up to 6 or 12 months before being considered for a full-time contractor or employee with benefits. Expected to work 15-20 hours per week.
• Contractors/employees: Based on the qualifications and experience.

神経工学エンジニア・神経科学者

説明：

チームメンバーと協力して、神経生理学実験の設計、実行、解析に取り組みます。

必須スキル：

• 神経科学、生物医学工学、または関連分野における卓越した能力
• アカデミアまたはインダストリーにおいて、神経生物学に関する2年以上の経験（実験計画やデータ解析、神経生理学データの収集など）
• 科学的手法と工学の基本原則への深い理解
• 自身の研究に関する論文や発表、特許などといった顕著な成果物
• PythonまたはMATLABの習熟（生理学データの解析が問題なくできるレベル）

あると好ましいスキル：

• 実験装置の製作及びプログラミング経験
• 最新の統計推論と機械学習の経験
• データ分析のためのAWSまたは他のクラウドサービスの経験
• インビボの電気生理や覚醒時の行動記録の経験
• 感覚運動電気生理学実験における行動パラダイムの開発経験

給与体系

インターン： 最長6ヶ月または12ヶ月間、月給150,000円。週15～20時間勤務。

契約社員／従業員： 資格と経験に基づく。
