Newronika, a medical device spin-off company of two of the world’s leading neurological research institutes, opened a permanent position for a Data Scientist.

***EXPERIENCE IN BIOMEDICAL OR AUDIO SIGNAL PROCESSING IS REQUIRED***

Responsibilities:

• Develop digital biomarkers within our product by means of Signal Processing and supervised/unsupervised Machine Learning techniques.
• Organize structured and unstructured data.
• Analyze physiological, activity and clinical data to extract meaningful knowledge associated with the specific neuropathology.
• Communicate and report results by means of data visualization and presentation to other teams.
• Develop predictive algorithms, classifiers and statistical methods for time-series analysis, also with unlabeled data.
• Continuously review scientific literature.
• Contribute to design of clinical studies (i.e. statistical analysis plan, data and development plan)

Requirements:

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering or computer science or data science with focus on time series processing and machine learning (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python and Matlab coding (required).
• Expertise in fields such as Mathematical Statistics and Machine Learning (required).
