Position Summary:
This role is responsible for driving standardization and implementation of initiatives focused on improving quality, cost, and delivery performance across the entire supply chain organization.
While working in cross-functional alignment with information technology (IT), quality, and other manufacturing leaders, is accountable for driving continuous improvement across the supply chain management process, which includes inventory management, material flow, warehousing, planning, and product distribution. Responsible for identifying, implementing, maintaining, and improving these digital tools used to manage and optimize material resources and production processes. Accountable for managing the integrity of the manufacturing data within these digital assets.
This position is authorized for financial expenditures/commitment levels as defined by the Global Authority Matrix of LivaNova PLC.
General Responsibilities:
- Assists with the development of the digital roadmap as it relates to the identification and deployment of digital applications used to drive standardization, efficiency, and performance improvements across manufacturing
- Helps to drive our manufacturing digital tools transformation journey through the delivery of best-in-class digital factory and IT technology solutions that enable increasing competitiveness for our manufacturing operations
- Provides engineering expertise to support optimizing end-to-end material flow, updating process flows, standardizing the material storage strategy, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provides data analysis tand implements change to the management of inventory .
- Ensures materials processes are efficient and meet stringent quality requirements.
- Uses lean tools, such as Kaizen events, line balancing, value stream mapping (VSM), to optimize production planning, supply chain, and inventory management processes.
- Assists with development and rollout of manufacturing digital transformation tools.
- Creates process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Leads investigations related to nonconformances (NCRs) and CAPAs
- Collaborates and communicates across multiple functional areas and levels across the business to understand the business needs, obtaining directional alignment, creating transparency, all while working together to ensure critical operational objectives are realized.
- Supports management reviews of operational and quality performance.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- 0-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
- High proficiency in MS-Office tool set (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong data analytical skills leveraging good problem solving and decision-making tools
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Passionate about manufacturing and willing to take leadership roles in future.
- Knowledge of factory planning and digital execution systems (MRP/ERP/MES)
- Experience with lean or six-sigma methodologies and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong leadership skills with ability to develop strong working relationships cross-functionally

Desired Skills And Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or similar) with 0-3 years of work experience
- Knowledge and experience using ERP, such as SAP, QAD, or similar application
- Project Management certified (PMP)
- Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certified
- Experience working within a heavy regulated environment
- Experience with FDA and ISO regulations related to medical device manufacturing
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or similar)
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Compensation:
- Target salary is $70,000 – $95,000 + annual bonus
