JOB TITLE: Junior Territory Manager – Neuromodulation

Reporting to the Sales Manager France, the mission of the Junior Territory Manager – Neuromodulation is to promote the VNS Therapy (Vagus Nerve Stimulation) range of products in healthcare establishments, among specialist doctors and/or nurses, pharmacists etc., thanks to his interpersonal skills and his sales techniques. The Junior Territory Manager ensures sales but also a significant level of service, in the field, to end users. He/She is responsible for projecting and achieving sales objectives in terms of units and turnover in assigned territories, while developing and stimulating demand from healthcare professionals for their patients. He/she continuously evaluates the market and recommends appropriate strategies for the territory. He/She benefits from the support of the sales team to carry out his/her missions in the field.

 

Activities And Responsibilities

This job includes – but is not limited to – the Following activities:

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge base of the product line, its uses, therapeutic areas, and the market to build credibility with customers.
  • Develop and present an action plan with quarterly activity reviews, account by account while completing and updating the Customer Relationship Management System (Sales Force)
  • Identify, visit, and develop new accounts, doctors, neurosurgeons, ENTs, neurologists, and nurses who have the potential to implant or refer patients for implantation.
  • Visit and further develop existing accounts to generate long-term sustainable and predictable business.
  • Facilitate the work of health professionals in identifying patients who could benefit from implantation using the available tools.
  • Liaise with patient support groups and all relevant government agencies in your territory to promote awareness of VNS therapy and provide any timely information enabling continuity of reimbursement and its optimization.
  • Organize and attend training and meetings with healthcare professionals to improve knowledge of VNS for epilepsy and ensure optimal treatment.
  • Support surgical cases as needed (operating theater).
  • Provide technical support if necessary, during patient monitoring or surgery.
  • Provide and develop personalized support to healthcare professionals during patient visits, under the responsibility of the HCP.
  • Regular presentation of the product/therapy to clients.
  • Respect and communicate the product safety notice and manage complaints and product returns in case of an adverse event.
  • Communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly, on planning, activities, updating and sharing the Outlook calendar, patient pipeline and sales forecasts to enable close monitoring of defined objectives and readjust the strategy if necessary.
  • Monitor and regularly check all stocks held by the accounts, carry out inventories on a regular basis following the procedure in force to avoid unused or lost products.
  • Control and monitor expenses (expense reports) and submit reimbursement requests monthly.
  • Complete administrative and training requirements on time and accurately.
  • Sign, act and comply with all established internal policies.
  • Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

 

Required Training And Experience

  • Strong appetite for technical products and the world of health
  • First experience in Medical Sector or bachelor’s degree (preferably in life sciences or a health-related discipline).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Commercial experience in a medical field is a plus, preferably in an advisory role (e.g. commercial representation of products in neuroscience, oncology, diabetes, etc.), where day-to-day responsibilities are established, measured and rewarded.
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in company software such as Sales Force are a plus
  • A diploma accompanied by relevant experience will also be taken into consideration.

Area And Travels

Travel: 80% of the time

Territory: Grande Aquitaine + Occitanie + Clermont-Ferrand region
