We are looking for an experienced Project Finance Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities:

• Co-pilot to the project manager to ensure focus on the achievement ofthe financial goals of the project. Provides all required financial information about the project.
• Single point of contact for all financial issues relating to the project.
• Early assessment and measuring of the financial impact of risks and opportunities with regular follow-ups on action plans. Proactively follow and challenge the project cash flow.
• Run project calculations (budget and forecast figures)
• Run project reports (create transparency to team, prepare monthly reports to stakeholders)
• Run accounting operations (contact with external accountants in Germany and the Netherlands, billing, A/R, A/P, Cost accounting, inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, cash flow mgt, control man/hour writing).

Job requirements

• Proven working experience as a (Project) Financial Controller
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Advanced degree in Accounting
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
