The INP Remote LTM Technologist Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of a CortiCare Remote EEG technologist team. The manager will ensure that his/her team is performing their assigned functions efficiently while promoting excellence in patient care. This position contributes to the success of CortiCare, with a focus on effective communication, quality customer service and evidence-based practice. The manager is expected to be the technical content expert in EEG Monitoring.
Requirements
Supervisory
- Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating department activities
- Manages daily operations and provides technical and clinical supervision of a team of 20-30 techs to ensure effective and efficient provision of quality diagnostic procedures following the established protocols
- Communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results
- Coaches, counsels and holds employees accountable to expectations
- Assists in the recruitment, selection, orienting and training of employees
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the team
- Attend corporate bi-weekly/monthly meetings as scheduled
- On-call manager: Handle any escalations involving night staffing, converting to IMR, etc.
Quality Assurance
- Actively supports and participates in quality improvement initiatives as directed
- Participates in a process or performance improvement team, and proactively initiates process improvement ideas to their team
- Proactively recommends and implements process improvement initiatives
- Assists in the development and measures for staff competencies, productivity standards and quality assurance standards
- Maintains a professional relationship with all customers
- Maintains the confidentiality of employees, patients, administration and medical staff
- Travel to meetings, conferences and trainings as required
Remote EEG Monitoring
- Remote monitor EEG while continually annotating records with observations according to CortiCare Remote monitoring protocols and ACNS guidelines and report any significant events in accordance with CortiCare Operating Procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- CLTM, required
- Bachelors Degree, preferred
- Supervisory experience, 1 year preferred
