ANEUVO is developing breakthrough neuromodulation devices and bioelectronic medicine to treat diseases and injuries that are incurable with conventional pharmacological agents. We are building a cohesive team with complementary and multidisciplinary expertise to develop and bring our products to market.

 

We are currently looking for an engineering manager who wants to lead our engineering team to develop new breakthrough neuromodulation devices. This is a unique opportunity to work with products and technology that have a direct and immediate impact on improving human life. An ideal candidate has excellent social skills, demonstrates technical aptitude, and often exceeds expectations.

Location: Los Angeles, CA

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages biomedical, electrical, firmware, and software engineers in the development of new products, features, and interfaces
  • Coordinates the technical implementation of product changes, fixes, and improvements through task assignments, strategic timelines, and efficient processes
  • Oversees and enforces thorough review and testing procedures
  • Drafts and approves documentation for specifications, drawings, materials, architectures, test procedures, test reports, etc.
  • Oversees project logistics and resource allocation
  • Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste
  • Collaborates with quality and regulatory team members to ensure compliant processes
  • Conducts responsibilities in a professional manner with the highest ethical and social conduct in all interactions
  • Maintains high level expertise in the field of neuromodulation, neuroprostheses, and neuroengineering
  • Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies
  • Advocates on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success
  • Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of electronics, electrical, software, or firmware, mechanical, neural engineering
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience
  • Experience in medical device, neurostimulation or neuromodulation field
  • Master’s degree in engineering or MBA is a plus
  • Outcome driven
