Senior Clinical Officer

At Neurotrack, our mission is to transform the diagnosis and prevention of Alzheimer’s and related diseases. The company develops digital cognitive health solutions that enable people to assess, monitor and strengthen their brain health to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s and other dementias. We partner with health plans and healthcare providers to bring quality cognitive assessments and care to anyone, anywhere. Our solutions are built on a digital platform, enabling convenient cognitive testing either in the clinic or from the privacy of home. Neurotrack’s approach is focused on preserving and strengthening cognitive health now as opposed to managing its decline later. Our HQ is in Silicon Valley, California, but this role is open to remote applicants in the US.

 

Neurotrack is looking for an entrepreneurial clinician to provide thought leadership as our Senior Clinical Officer (SCO). Reporting to the CEO, you will leverage your healthcare, clinical, and industry experience to provide subject-matter expertise to customers, develop strategy, advance innovation of Neurotrack’s product offerings, and collaborate closely with the rest of the team to expand our cognitive health platform. This role is highly collaborative and requires sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated leadership. This position starts as a part-time engagement and will grow to a full-time position as the company expands. 

 

What You’ll Do:

Clinical strategy and commercial partnership
  • Collaborate with commercial leadership to articulate ROI and commercial value of the product with customers and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, the SCO ensures the company’s scientific efforts are aligned with clinical needs and market demands.
  • Help identify ways to improve on the company’s product portfolio and maximize the potential for commercial success.
  • Provide expertise related to clinical workflow and best practice processes throughout the customer lifecycle.
 
Building relationships with key stakeholders:
  • Serve as a bridge between the company and external stakeholders, including B2B partners, key opinion leaders, clinical leaders, patient advocacy groups and customers. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with these stakeholders, leveraging clinical expertise and credibility to foster trust and partnerships
  • Provide medical oversight on the appropriateness of the company’s product and services, while minimizing product risks to ensure patient and staff well-being. 
 
Industry advocacy:
  • Provide thought leadership, including but not limited to speaking at conferences, writing articles and blog posts
  • Contribute to the healthcare community by sharing knowledge, presenting clinical results, and evangelizing our customer stories to the market.
  • Raise the profile of the company to attract top talent and enhance its credibility as an innovative player in the industry.

 

Who You Are:

  • MD, DO, NP, DNP or RN degree
  • Current, active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one US state, recent or current clinical duties, preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical experience
  • Experienced with Neurodegenerative diseases and SDOH within various care settings is preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), data analysis, and critical thinking skills
  • Extensive experience in acute and non-acute clinical workflows, care management, population health and care delivery
  • Knowledge of billing and coding, ideally experience in fee for service and VBC (especially in PMPM model)
