We are seeking a talented and motivated ASIC Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in developing the next generation of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Architect/Develop and document test plans and methodologies to validate design, performance, and reliability
- Set up appropriate test environment with necessary hardware/equipment and software/tools
- Write functional, performance, and stress tests
- Iterate tests and collect data, possibly automating the process
- Debug/Root-cause/analyze failures
- Characterize functions and operating parameters
- Document results for (but not limited to) power consumption, heat dissipation, safety standards, quality standards, and manufacturing
- Maintain detail records of test plans, test results, and debug efforts
- Participate in design discussions to ensure design-for-test
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, system engineers, and software engineers to deliver successful projects on time
Key Qualifications:
- BS with ten plus, MS with eight plus, or PhD with three plus years of industry experience focusing on ASIC/silicon and/or system validation
- Strong knowledge of validation principles, ASIC design, and semiconductor processes
- Proficiency in scripting and low-level programming (C)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and propose innovative solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively and creatively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment to achieve project goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and collaborate with team members
- Deep understanding of electronics and circuit design principles
- Deep understanding of computer/system architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python front-end for testing
- Experience with embedded systems
- Experience with industry-standard protocols
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements in ASIC design
