We are seeking a talented and motivated ASIC Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in developing the next generation of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Architect/Develop and document test plans and methodologies to validate design, performance, and reliability
• Set up appropriate test environment with necessary hardware/equipment and software/tools
• Write functional, performance, and stress tests
• Iterate tests and collect data, possibly automating the process
• Debug/Root-cause/analyze failures
• Characterize functions and operating parameters
• Document results for (but not limited to) power consumption, heat dissipation, safety standards, quality standards, and manufacturing
• Maintain detail records of test plans, test results, and debug efforts
• Participate in design discussions to ensure design-for-test
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, system engineers, and software engineers to deliver successful projects on time

Key Qualifications:

• BS with ten plus, MS with eight plus, or PhD with three plus years of industry experience focusing on ASIC/silicon and/or system validation
• Strong knowledge of validation principles, ASIC design, and semiconductor processes
• Proficiency in scripting and low-level programming (C)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and propose innovative solutions
• Ability to work collaboratively and creatively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment to achieve project goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and collaborate with team members
• Deep understanding of electronics and circuit design principles
• Deep understanding of computer/system architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python front-end for testing
• Experience with embedded systems
• Experience with industry-standard protocols
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements in ASIC design
