Your Mission

NIRx Medizintechnik GmbH is looking for an expert in Supply Chain and Production with a hands-on mentality to lead our team in Berlin. We are looking for a strong team player with experience in electronic devices and a passion for developing great processes.

  • Lead and develop a close-knit supply chain team of 7 individuals, fostering an inspiring and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee and optimise all aspects of our electronic equipment’s supply chain. This includes planning, purchasing, supplier management, production (involving electronics assembling, soldering, and textile manufacturing), testing/quality control, worldwide logistics, sales order handling, and invoicing.
  • Proactively manage the process of matching demand with supply, ensuring a smooth and timely service.
  • Work closely with the sales team to gather and process sales forecasts and upcoming orders, keeping the team informed about item availability, feasible shipping dates, and to prioritise sales orders effectively.
  • Strategically plan supply, production, purchasing, and logistics to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring we are always ready to meet customer demand.
  • Implement best practices and drive ongoing improvements in supply chain processes and tools for enhanced efficiency and future growth. 
  • Provide training and support for the effective use of our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) and contribute to the setup of a quality management system.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Educational background and training in supply chain management or electronics production.
  • Robust experience of at least 5 years in various supply chain tasks, ideally focusing on electronic equipment within small and medium-sized enterprises.
  • Previous leadership experience in a professional capacity, highlighting the ability to guide and develop teams effectively.
  • Experience in setting up and optimising supply chains.
  • Intuitive and proactive interpersonal skills.
  • Training and solid experience in related processes within ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Strong communication and writing skills in both English and German (C1 minimum)
  • An independent, effective, and precise working style, emphasising quality alongside a strong commitment and sense of responsibility.

 

Considered a plus

  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, automotive, or aerospace.
  • Motivation for effective team collaboration and transparent, proactive communication.
  • The ability to create comprehensive process descriptions and work instructions.
