Job Summary:
- China Senior Technical Service Manager is responsible for China technical service team daily operations management.
- This position is expected to develop China capital equipment service sales business model together with developing a professional technical service team to execute and perform the service business strategy
- This position is also expected to work closely with global TSSI and quality affairs team to optimize and standardize China technical service working SOP, perfect service protocol.
- This position should involve in developing China technical service long term strategy to support China CP sustainable growth.
Role and Responsibility:
- Develop and implement China service business strategy and tactic plan.
- Develop and pilot LivaNova China service business model, including but not limit to: additional machine warranty pricing model, spare parts pricing strategy, existing installation machine upgrade model with pricing strategy and maintenance/ repairing service model.
- Work with global TSSI, marketing and R&D team to build up HLM connectivity pathway to support Essenz launch
- Develop China service spare parts inventory management SOP
- China technical service team daily operations management
- Maintain technical service database/ record and provide analysis and report
- Optimize and standardize China technical service working SOP, perfect service protocol
- Manage service engineer team to deliver good technical support for the field device/equipment installations, trouble shooting and upgrade solution
- Develop China technical service long term strategy with developing a professional technical service team to execute and perform the service business strategy.
- Follow CP BU strategy to develop service business competencies including digitalization and connectivity
- Develop team members to increase business acumen and functional skills
- Identify opportunities and lead the implementation of changes to drive improvements
- Cross functional projects support to ensure China CP business sustainable growth, include but not limit to:
- Capital equipment registration strategy and technic support
- Leverage global resource to develop training course to sales team, distributors and customers to provide comprehensive professional technical support with branding enhancement
- Capital equipment product complaint, repairing pathway and compensation process standardize and improving
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years service business sales/marketing experience in MNC medical device. and minimum 5 years people manager experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of Technical services to the business
- Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to Technical services
- Demonstrated skill set to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
- Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
- Proven successful project management leadership skills
- Change management skill
- Develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
