The Role:

The Area Business  Manager will contribute to the foundational build out and execution of the North America strategic commercial launch of ReActiv8. They will identify growth opportunities and develop and execute near and long-term business growth strategies within their assigned areas. The Area Business Manager will be responsible for developing, recruiting and managing a team of top talent to drive ReActiv8 adoption in targeted areas utilizing activities such as attending meetings with key customers, building a pipeline of patients and setting up key accounts to achieve expectations. Additionally, the Area Business Manager will work crossfunctionally to notify partners of meaningful business developments and recommend ways to improve strategic initiatives.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Develop in-depth knowledge of Mainstay Medical and ReActiv8 therapy. 
• Identify, recruit, develop, interview and manage top talent in preparation for commercial expansion. 
• Establish sales objectives by forecasing and developing quarterly sales goals for Theraphy Managers. 
• Implement US sales programs by developing field sales action/business plans. 
• Manage area level budget and spend. 
• Engagement with identified initial sites and key customers to build patient pipelines, policy submission, advocates and processes for implants.
• Drive reimbursement policy by supporting patient selection and partnering with supporting advocates.
• Develop strategies to expand market impact in partnership with internal teams.
• Work collaboratively with the Clinical Development team to ensure successful product launch.
• Build strong relationships with KOLs, therapeutic partners and high-volume accounts. 
• Through KOL engagement, develop scalable solutions to satisfy customer needs and drive therapy adoption. 
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business. 
• Routinely assess market and sales operations, recommending improvements as needed.
• Present business development learnings and identified opportunities to executive leadership.
• Fulfill all assigned corporate objectives including quota attainment, training and compliance expectations. 
• Fulfill all quality and regulatory competencies. 
• Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with at least 2 years of management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching and management skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and persuasive.

The typical salary for this position includes base pay of $150,000 + variable compensation. The total compensation package includes a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
