Description

The Director for US Stroke Research is a key member of the Translational Medicine team but working across departments, leading activity that drives the adoption of Brainomix software in the US. The successful applicant will be responsible for shaping the strategy for evidence generation that will underpin the widescale adoption of Brainomix 360 Stroke, and support commercial and mar-keting activities. The Director will lead collaborative research activity, working closely with healthcare and academic partners, the central Brainomix team, and the US based commercial team. The role is responsible to the design and execution of research studies that evidence the value and performance of Brainomix 360 in a US setting, and the communication of the results of these activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement the US clinical research strategy that supports the Company objectives.
  • Collaborate with partners to drive the design and delivery of research studies that validate the value propositions of Brainomix technology and services.
  • Provide clinical and research support and input to commercial and marketing teams.
  • Lead activities that optimise the adoption and use of Brainomix 360 to improve patient care in US healthcare systems.
  • Establish and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and collaborators.
  • Champion Brainomix as a clinical and research partner with potential clinical partners to improve patient care in the US.
  • Interpret and communicate the results of Brainomix research activity in academic settings and in collaboration with commercial and marketing colleagues.
  • Support life science activity in the US related to Brainomix technology or services.
  • As required, support wider research activity that demonstrates the value of Brainomix technology.

 

Requirements

Essential Requirements:
  • Either clinically qualified or research-based degree
  • Strong understanding of stroke patient pathways and healthcare configuration in the US
  • Experience and training in clinical research
  • Experience of leading and evaluating innovation in healthcare
  • Evidence of excellent project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of imaging biomarkers in stroke
 
Desirable Requirements:
  • Medical or nursing degree with specialist training in stroke medicine, neurology or radiology
  • Doctorate level higher degree
  • Evidence of leading collaborative research with multiple institutions
  • Experience with image handling and processing software
