Your Mission

The People & Culture Head takes responsibility for all areas of human resources, from talent acquisition to employee relations, retention, and engagement, and how these areas relate to the company culture & performance.  The mission is to achieve performance excellence in a thriving culture. The People & Culture Head leads the HR strategies in close alignment with the CEO and the leadership and management teams. The People & Culture Head fosters a collaborative culture by identifying gaps and organizational needs and by supporting supervisors and managers in identifying professional development for themselves and their teams. The People & Culture 

 

Main Responsibilities: 

Drive a thriving culture.  
  • Leads the development of INBRAIN’s culture – facilitating an environment where the team lives INBRAIN’s values and those are translated into thriving team dynamics, operational excellence, and business success.  
  • Serves as a “champion” for INBRAIN’s culture and company values to promote excellence and ensure recognition as a top place to work.  
  • Builds a strong employment brand, messaging INBRAIN’s culture and values to staff and prospective candidates.  
  • Actively participates in the Leadership Team and leads the People and Culture Committee (To be created)  
  • Partners with the Leadership Team, always aligned with People processes, to translate strategic objectives into project delivery.   
  • Works with the Leadership team to create and implement people solutions to continue to drive engagement and productivity. Develops, implements, and facilitates HR programs and initiatives that support our culture, including employee engagement, training and development, and performance management.  
  • Promotes a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering open communication and collaboration.  
  • Drives initiatives that enhance company culture, employee engagement, and overall job satisfaction.   
  • Leads initiatives to make sure both remote and Barcelona team members make a united and efficient team with a healthy “one team” spirit.  
  • Organizes and promotes team-building activities, events, and recognition programs.  
Hire, Retain and Grow company’s individuals.  
  • Leads the development of strategies, implementation plans and programs to identify top talent within and outside INBRAIN.  Provides overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training, and leadership development.  
  • Oversees benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiency and attractiveness to retain top talent.  
  • Recruits and manages a team of high performing people.  
  • Together with the People and Culture Team, implements skills tests and/or personality profiles to enhance the hiring or development process and to identify competency, knowledge and skills related to INBRAIN’s job functions.  
  • Assists in building the capacity of leaders across the organization by ensuring that managers are invested in talent development and equipped with the resources, skills, and mindsets to effectively manage and develop their teams.  
  • Implements strong talent planning and development activities to ensure ongoing individual development at all levels and strong succession plans for key roles.  
  • Develops programs to increase INBRAIN’s equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.  
  • Develops and positions INBRAIN as an employer of choice through people-centric best practices to promote employee engagement.  
  • Assists with the development of a rewards and recognition program.  
  • Assists with performance management cycles.  

 

Continue developing Operation Excellence in HR  
  • Works closely with the team regarding HR practices, issues, concerns and collaborates/shares information with colleagues from across INBRAIN in human resources practices and processes.  
  • Assists Head of People & Culture Team in the development and implementation of structured and clear human resource policies   
  • Ensures compliance of HR management to local labor regulations, GDPR, and ISO13485.   
  • Supports People & Culture and leadership in internal & external communications.   
  • Collaborates in the General People & Culture admin tasks.   
  • Helps maintain employee files and records.   
  • Supports in IT tasks linked to People & Culture activities.   
  • Coaches, supports, mentors and challenges business leaders in the application of HR policies and practices, provides advice and direction on sophisticated HR issues.   
  • Develop initiatives, policies, and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency throughout the organization and company momentum.  
  • Designs and implements an onboarding program to integrate new employees seamlessly into the organization. 
  • Conducts orientation sessions to introduce new hires to the company’s values, culture, and expectations. 

 

Your Profile

  • BSc/BA in Human Resources or equivalent post-secondary education in a related field 
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)/ Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) or Certified Coach designation preferred. 
  • Solid knowledge of best human resources practices and organizational culture management. About ten (10) years human resources experience required, preferably in a healthcare organization. 
  • Good understanding of GDPR will be a plus. 
  • Outstanding internal client focus and highly developed coaching and advising skills. 
  • Highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to plan and to collaborate with other teams and across the organization. 
  • Highly self-motivated with desire to contribute to the success of a healthcare improvement organization. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including experience developing and maintaining strategic partnerships. 
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. 
  • Experience in scaling teams and establishing a winning culture internationally. 
  • Excellent understanding of Spanish employment laws.  
  • Professional tact and diplomacy and confidentiality required. 
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic and highly motivated team. 
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Personio) and other IT systems, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint will be a plus.  
  • Fluent English and Spanish
