Job Description

MindMaze is seeking to hire an open-minded and initiative-taking project manager with a software engineering background to join our Lausanne team. You will work closely with software developers, data analysts, UI/UX designers, clinical experts and also quality engineers, and supply chain specialists. Clear and synthetic communication will be key to navigate easily within the company and drive projects until their completion. 

Main responsibilities:

• Define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
• Determine resource requirements and manage resource availability & allocation.
• Prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Manage delivery of the project according to the plan.
• Track projects and provide regular reports on project status to the project team and key stakeholders.
• Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Engage directly with the client and all stakeholders, to ensure the project is delivered to their satisfaction.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Control the project follow all quality and regulatory requirements of developing software as a medical product.
• Manage technical relationships with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs to meet budget
• Help teams get structured / Ensure smooth operation within and between departments / Participate in elaborating efficient processes within the team
• Participate in some SW Developments

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of at least one coding language, and good knowledge of how software implementation works
• 2-5 years managing software projects
• Experience working with medical devices is a plus
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Extensive experience working in a highly demanding environment
• Proficiency in Ms Office suites and software applications (such as Jira, Confluence…)
• English is a must, French is a strong plus
