General Summary & Overall Challenges

An Augmented Reality (AR) Engineer is responsible for designing, improving, and supporting reusable components and frameworks that enable immersive experiences and rapid prototyping in AR applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain augmented reality (AR) applications for surgical microscope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AR technology into existing systems and products.
• Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of AR software and hardware solutions.
• Conduct research on AR technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements For This Position

• Professional Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing AR applications for various platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, and/or Swift.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Language
  • Fluent in English
• Travel (required estimated % of time)
  • 10%
• Other
  • Systematic in problem-solving approach and creative thinker 
  • Prototyping using Matlab / Python / C / C++
  • Knowledge in FPGA design preferred
