Organization Overview

Presidio Medical is developing neuromodulation technology with the potential to transform the field of neuromodulation with an initial focus on treating chronic pain. Presidio is led by a highly experienced team with a successful track record of medical device commercialization with deep expertise in pain management and neurostimulation.  The expertise has allowed Presidio to develop a comprehensive design and development plan to move quickly through prototype builds, animal studies, and clinical use.  Enabled by this prior activity, initial clinical work has demonstrated therapeutic efficacy with exceptional outcomes. The team is now working on the next generation system for further clinical work and to develop Presidio’s commercial system.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Recruiter to join our growing startup. As the Senior Recruiter, you will play a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent to support our company’s growth and success. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to shaping our company’s culture, as well as having the opportunity help shape HR programs/process alongside the HR leader.

 

Recruiter Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive the full life cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and hiring top talent.
  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract and hire top-tier candidates across various functions and levels.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and create job descriptions that effectively communicate the requirements and expectations for each position.
  • Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on interview techniques and best practices for evaluating candidates.
  • Negotiate and present offers to selected candidates, ensuring competitive compensation packages and alignment with company values.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices to continuously improve our hiring processes.
  • Create and maintain all recruiting analytics for stakeholders and executive leadership, on a regular basis.
  • Create and implement trainings for Hiring Managers and Interviewers in partnership with the HR Leader.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Leader on process improvements across our HR systems and talent practices as needed.
  • Manage the full onboarding cycle for new hires through data input to our HRIS, Trinet, preparing employee files and ad hoc activities as required
  • Manage the day-to-day immigration related activities.
  • HR program and process management as needed in partnership with the HR Leader.

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates for a variety of roles, including technical and non-technical positions, and managing unique multi-channel search strategies. 
  • Strong understanding of different recruitment channels and techniques, with the ability to leverage them effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating and facilitating recruiting and onboarding related trainings strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Passion for startups and the ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment.

  • Varied sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. or less.
