- Type: Intern
- Experience: Some Experience
- Salary: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Organization Overview
Presidio Medical is developing a novel Ultra Low Frequency (ULMTM) neuromodulation technology with an initial clinical target of addressing chronic pain, one of the most frequent reasons for doctor’s visits each year. Presidio is led by a highly experienced leadership team with a successful track record of medical device commercialization with deep expertise in pain management and neurostimulation. This expertise has allowed Presidio to develop a comprehensive design and development plan and move quickly to prototype builds, animal studies, clinical ready product, and into clinical use. These systems have been used successfully in bench-top and animal studies to confirm proof of concept and preliminary safety profile. The systems have also been used in an initial clinical study with excellent outcomes. The team is now working on the next generation system for additional clinical work. The existing team comprises a highly functional group of motivated, multitalented individuals working toward the company goal of bringing a potentially game-changing technology to fruition for individuals with chronic pain. Presidio Medical is located in South San Francisco.
