R&D / Engineering Director – Neuromodulation

Metric Bio is partnered with a cutting-edge start-up specializing in implantable Neuromodulation technology.

As R&D / Engineering Director, you will be responsible for driving the Product Development strategy at their Milan-based site. This role will involve both internal and external leadership. Internally leading the R&D Engineering team on-site. Externally managing the relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers in both Europe and the US.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Marketing to coordinate Product Development activities.

We are looking for a technically savvy R&D Leader with the following experience:

• 10+ years’ in an Engineering / R&D leadership role
• Strong experience working with Class III AIMD’s
• Technical understanding of Neuromodulation
• Able to work on-site in Milan

This role reports directly into the CEO and will involve regular communication with the BoD.
