MindPlay Education is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive to join our team in Texas. The right candidate will be experienced in helping K-12 districts improve student outcomes. The candidate will bring a competitive fire and will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities for which MindPlay’s digital reading and math solutions can make the biggest impact.

 

Key areas of impact you’ll have include:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the defined regions in Texas (likely regions 12, 13, 15, and 20).
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at districts and schools, as well as other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of MindPlay’s reading and math solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and partner success, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive product adoption.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Relevant Education that can be leveraged and respected among the K-12 customers and prospects.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas of software, SaaS, or PaaS products.
  • Demonstrated experience selling curriculum software to K-12 schools or educational institutions.
  • Strong understanding of the education market, including challenges and trends.
  • High sales acumen with a demonstrated history of winning new business, generating qualified leads, and solving customer problems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRMs for managing sales pipeline.
