As a Software Health Tech QA Lead, you will play a key role in testing and maintaining software used in the development of world-class medical devices that improve the lives of people globally. The team is looking for a QA Lead to build and support both the production and testing needed for regulatory approval.

QA Lead – Health Tech Software (Reality Labs) Responsibilities

• Providing software quality engineering support for engineering teams throughout the full product development lifecycle
• Ensuring software development activities meet the quality and regulatory requirements of FDA and ISO standards
• Writing and maintaining software documentation for medical devices
• Documenting software specifications in accordance with medical device development standards
• Reviewing new and modified software product designs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet the company’s quality and regulatory goals

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of related software QA experience within the medical device industry.
• Experience developing and executing software quality testing support throughout the entire product lifecycle, including design, development, release, and maintenance.
• Proficient in developing test plans, designing and executing tests (manual and automated), including performance and stress testing for medical devices from scratch.
• Experience in creating, shipping and maintaining software design controls documentation for medical devices.
• Knowledge of medical device standards such as ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 and their application to software verification and validation.
• Experience debugging applications.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience partnering and/or collaborating across multiple disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience of working on medical software.
• Experience coding in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent language
• Previous experience working on Android/iOS/WearOS device software

$158,000/year to $219,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
