We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern to join our Embedded Systems and Circuits team. We’re looking for a candidate that has a strong sense of ownership, is enthusiastic and does whatever it takes to get the job done. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on embedded and software projects and gain hands-on experience in C/C++ and Python programming.
Responsibilities:
- Software Development:
- Collaborate with our experienced engineering team to understand embedded firmware libraries in C/C++ and develop the python adaptor for those libraries.
- Collaborate with our experienced engineering team to understand the teams need for data collection and develop the python tools to control the lab equipment.
- Design and develop the sample projects to help users to learn and use the libraries and tools easier.
- Work on coding, debugging, and testing for the projects.
- Testing , Validation and Hardware Integration
- Integrate the software with the hardware to test and validate the projects and libraries.
- Supporting the team to test and debug the firmware for the hardware with the projects and libraries.
- Documentation
- Create comprehensive documentation for projects and libraries.
- Maintain clear and organized records of development processes and results.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, and Python.
- Embedded Hardware skills, able to read and understand schematics.
- Embedded firmware skills, able to understand the lower level firmware programs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary Range : 35 – 45 USD / hour
