Role

The Service Engineer is responsible for all the technical after-sales-service technical support activities for our research products.

Our products’ installation, servicing and support require a team effort and knowledge from different technical domains. Your goal is to help those activities successfully, finish them on time and aim for the highest level of customer satisfaction. With your thorough knowledge, you provide and coordinate 1st (Customers) 2nd (Sales Partners) or 3rd level support (within our organization).

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for technical services in the assigned territory/region
  • To assemble and install Motek (DIH) manufactured system based on engineering designs and specifications.
  • Conduct testing procedures to ensure the functionality and performance of Motek devices. You are also involved in routine maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure that assembled systems meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Customer Success Manager to ensure optimal product performance and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Feedback on potential product improvements to the Product Manager
  • Document, maintain and organize service history associated with all installed systems.

This position will require travel up to 70% (field), and 30% (Office).

 

Requirements

  • 1 -3 years of experience working with complex devices in industries such as biomedical, manufacturing, aerospace, and energy.
  • Must demonstrate a decent knowledge of computer systems and electronic components.
  • Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in mechanical systems.
  • Precision in following engineering specifications and ensuring accuracy in the assembly and testing processes.
  • Solutions and results orientated with the ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken and written), and additional foreign language skills are a plus.
  • Driver’s license
  • EU citizen or work permit holder only
