VR Unity Designer (Intern)

📍 2-6 months Full-time | Paris (France) – Station F office. To be eligible you must be able to provide an internship agreement from a French school/university.

Your role

🧠 Clarity is seeking a passionate intern to work on the visual and interactive design of immersive therapeutic experiences. In collaboration with our designers, you will participate in the technical design of our therapeutic VR app.

 

What you will do

  • Hands-On on UX/UI: Participate in the design phases of a VR application delivering a non-pharmacological treatment in the field of neuroscience.
  • Design and Development: Create interactive interfaces on Unity from Figma mockups. Arrange virtual scenes using 3D elements. Design interactive prototypes to showcase demos to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Disciplinary and International Collaboration: Work closely with professionals from various disciplines and 7 nationalities, leveraging your design expertise to support the team and enhance product development.

 

Who you are

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Unity (URP) and C# for developing Unity components.
  • Ability to create interactive VR interfaces, including experience with XR Interaction Toolkit and Oculus Quest.
  • Skills in visual rendering, including selection of 3D assets, materials management, lighting, and post-processing effects.
  • Capability to reproduce high-fidelity interfaces designed in Figma within Unity.
  • General understanding of XR interactions and knowledge of VR prototyping tools (such as ShapesXR) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Shader Graph is an advantage.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt to new VR technologies.
  • Previous experience in VR/AR development is beneficial.

 

Educational Requirements:

Candidates pursuing or holding a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Game Development, or a related field are preferred, but all talented designers are welcome to send us their portfolios and impress us!

Location:

The internship will be on-site in our Paris office.

 

Language Requirements:

We are an English-speaking team, so candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English.

 

Duration of Internship:

Internships in France for higher education typically last between 2 to 6 months. The exact duration can be discussed based on the project needs and the candidate’s availability. The position is available as of June 2024.

To be eligible you must be able to provide an internship agreement from a French school/university.
