Electronics Technician
Your mission
As an Electronics Technician, you will be part of our rapidly growing Electronics Team. The role has a great focus on technical hands-on laboratory management activities and responsibilities, e.g. equipment control, tools maintenance, incoming inspections.
You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market, making a tangible difference in people´s lives worldwide.
Your profile
- Assemble electronic systems that are part of an implantable neurostimulation system.
- Support in the bring-up and debugging of electronic systems using e.g. oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
- Develop and assemble (automated) test systems for the characterization and verification of medical electronic systems.
- Support in the verification test execution of electronic subsystems (functional, electrical safety, EMC, reliability).
- Work with external partners in the outsourced design, assembly and test of electronic systems and test systems.
- Provide electronics services to the various project teams.
- Lab management, including equipment quality control, tools maintenance, incoming inspection, etc.
- Work according to quality management system (QMS) and accurately document test results, assembly procedures, change control, traceability, etc.
Qualifications and Soft skills:
- Degree in electronics, mechatronics or other relevant education.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a relevant electronics development environment.
- Strong hands-on skills in assembly, bring-up and debugging of electronics systems.
- Experienced in test tool and test system development and assembly.
- Design tools for electronics design and layout.
- Proficient at soldering and reworking components on PCBs.
- Experience working according to assembly SOPs and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
- Background in lab management activities and responsibilities, e.g. equipment control, tools maintenance, incoming inspections.
- Fluency in English required (English is company language).
- Fast learner, self-motivated and pro-active individual able to work in the fast-moving environment of a dynamic start-up company.
- Be a team player and Communicate effectively.
Nice to have:
- Altium electronics design and layout experience.
- Experience in testing electrical safety according to IEC60601.
- Familiar with electronics manufacturing processes.
- Automated test scripting and execution.
