We are looking for a PostDoc with a Background in BCI-research:

1 open position of a University Assistant with PhD for 4 years, 40 hours/week, expected from 1st of September 2019, at the Institute of Neural Engineering.

Admission requirements

• PhD degree in Information & Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable studies.

Desired qualifications

• Experience in biosignal processing, feature extraction and pattern recognition/ Machine Learning;
• knowledge of source localization based on multi-channel EEG derivatives;
• experience in the field of Neural Engineering especially in Brain-Computer Interfacing; experience with Matlab, Python or similar.
• Very good knowledge of English and team skills;
• Experience in Paper and Proposal writing as well as teaching.
• Willingness to mobility (work in international projects, conferences, etc.).

Salary classification:

• B 1 according to collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this position is currently € 3,803,90 gross (14 times per year).
