As a Contract Software Engineer for iOS, you will be working on Aira’s flagship product.
Responsibilities
- Create new screens, experiences, and features in Aira’s iOS Smart App
- Handle failure modes and edge cases
- Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
- Participate in code reviews and agile software development processes
- Manage and ship software all the way to production, including Apple App Store releases
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years professional experience with Swift
- Familiarity with RESTful API usage, message queues, and WebRTC
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and GitHub
- Ability to read technical docs and API specifications
- Solid communication skills, both written and oral
- Highly self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment
- Willingness to work 40 hours a week from our open work environment located in San Diego (La Jolla), CA
