Senior Manager Laboratory School

 

Position Background

 

Atentiv develops personalized digital learning tools for children that naturally
optimize, remediate, or rehabilitate inattention to improve academic performance
and symptoms of ADHD. The Company is seeking a Senior Manager of the
Laboratory School to manage the development and testing of prototype and
production ready product applications in clinics, schools and homes. A staff of
Training Coordinators will manage daily product testing, performance
measurement, evaluation and reporting. This senior manager position would work
closely with cognitive scientists, clinicians, analysts and developers to develop and
iterate product refinements and improvements prior to scale up. Position reports to
VP Product Development, Chief Medical Officer and leads to multiple directions in
product application development, evidence base building and direct customer
service.

Responsibilities

 

The Senior Manager of the Lab School will be responsible for overseeing all activity
in the Lab School and working with the product development team, including:

  • Oversee lab operations as Principal Investigator, including clinic, school and home-based studies and focus testing of products against key performance indicators to identify necessary refinements and improvements in product applications.
  • Develop global study plans, including feasibility, timelines, staffing requirements and budgets, for internal study management
  • Hire, train and mentor study operations team, including study coordinators and attention trainers
  • Collaboratively develop study protocols, oversee analysis and interpretation of results, and use results to inform the next iteration of product design
  • Assure compliance with all ethical and regulatory requirements, including patient protections such as informed consent and safety reporting
  • Establish processes and procedures for data collection (e.g., case report form development) and quality assurance (e.g., source data verification)
  • Provide collaborative input to design of digital therapeutics and training applications to be incorporated into next application iteration.
  • Oversee focus group and product development testing, including qualitative analysis of feedback and translating results into actionable changes in product applications.

 

Experience and Education

 

  •  Minimum 5-10 years Human Subjects Research experience, Masters Degree in Developmental Psychology or related field
  • Ph.D. in Developmental, Clinical, or Educational Psychology; Cognitive Therapy ; or related field highly preferred
  • Medical device, drugs, or consumer products experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams and interact with network of external advisors
  • Experience working in entrepreneurial and/or educational environment preferred
  • Experience in user experience and qualitative analysis preferred
