• Develop and track schedules for large engineering projects
• Work with engineering to drive issues to completion
• Work with the vendors and manufacturing partners to address quality and support issues
• Solve engineering design issues as appropriate
• Estimate effort and tasks duration
• Lead prototype creation, manage test cycles and review test results
• Strategically prioritize features and tasks, and direct engineering efforts accordingly
• Manage supply chain and vendor relationships 
• Track component and system costs

Requirements

• B.S. in a technical field, (preferably electrical, mechanical, software or manufacturing engineering) from an accredited institution or equivalent professional/military experience.
• 2+ years experience managing technical programs
•  An organized approach to technical problem solving
•  Rigorous attention to detail
•  First hand experience designing or debugging electrical or mechanical systems
•  Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
•  Understanding of common manufacturing techniques 
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including MS project
