Electrical Engineer (Full Time)

Responsibilities:

• The electrical engineer will function as a key member of a team that develops embedded systems and circuit boards to facilitate the development of robotic prototypes. The engineer will work with a team of creative and enthusiastic robotics engineers and clinicians to develop novel wearable robots.

Requirements:

• BS+ degree in electrical, mechanical, robotics and biomedical engineering or related degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with circuit design, PCB development, and embedded systems.
• Embedded software (firmware) experience
• Familiar with microcontroller or microprocessors, and peripherals (e.g. SPI, CAN, RS485)
• Experience with embedded C/C++ programming, in particular on real-time motion control of electric motors
• Skillful using soldering iron, rework station and test equipment for debugging circuit boards
• Experience with Robotics is a plus
• Experience with Wired and wireless (e.g. Bluetooth) communication and data logging.
