Senior Web Developer

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

For leading  and developing a unique product in the medical market, in the field of orthopedic planning, we are looking for a Senior Web Developer to provide technical guidance and manage our growing web development team.

This position is located in the Israeli branch in Petach Tikva. You will be working on the leading product of the company, with other developments team and various departments.

 

Your main duties will include:

  • Manage all aspects of the web development team.
  • Work on projects, as agreed with the group program manager, design, schedule and deliver new and enhanced portal features.
  • Oversee the development processes ensuring that the web development team develops code to agreed timescales, quality, security and priorities.
  • Build, test, implement and maintain web-based applications, troubleshooting web application and infrastructure problems to reach resolution as required.
  • Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve the quality of our application and supporting infrastructure.
  • Keep abreast of new technology for future-proofing applications and infrastructure, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Carry out risk analysis of introducing new technology for development and infrastructure.

 

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with major frontend frameworks and  libraries(Angular, React, Redux etc.)
  • Experience with AngularJS, MVC.
  • Fluency in Javascript ES6, CSS3, SCSS/Less
  • Passionate about building advanced web applications.
  • Work will include legacy Angular JS code.
  • Management skills, excellent people skills, team player, confidence and “Can Do” attitude.
  • Proven ability to drive and take architecture decisions in an established software environment.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to a team of approx. 5 software engineers.
  • Willingness to acquire clinical background in cooperation with Product Management.
  • Excellent English skills for communication with our site in Germany.
