We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to join the development team of the imaging division. During the course of a clinical procedure, intraoperative tomography data is acquired and transmitted to various software applications, enabling navigated spinal and cranial interventions.

In our team, your main tasks will be:

• Responsibility for designing, developing, testing and maintaining various software products in the area of acquisition, transmission, registration and navigation of intraoperative images
• Implementation of features mainly in C++
• Contribution to technical documentation
• Working closely together with other teams, such as Project Engineers as well as QM colleagues

With your creativity and your professional, independent approach to work, you will make a large contribution to the success of not only the individual project, but also to the overall Brainlab world of medical products – from the first idea to market release.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Degree in computer science, physics, mathematics or similar
• Practical experience in object-oriented design and programming in C++
• Experience (as a plus) in any of
  • GUI programming
  • Graphics programming
  • DICOM
• Fluency in English and German (or willingness to learn German)
• Good communication and documentation skills
