pymetrics is seeking an Industrial-Organisational Psychologist to join our small but growing team.
Instead of relying on resume data or traditional assessments, we apply data science approaches to reinvent the way that companies recruit, hire, and retain talent. pymetrics is thoughtful about utilizing an approach that harnesses the power of machine learning while carefully avoiding adverse impact and documenting construct, content, and criterion-related validity. Location is open to either Sydney, Melbourne, or Singapore.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work directly with clients and potential clients in the APAC region to understand pain points and how best to utilise pymetrics products for success
- Design, conduct, and deliver scalable job analyses.
- Work with our IO analytics team to conduct and deliver the outcomes to clients of predictive validity and adverse impact studies.
- Work with our sales team to ensure client success post contract.
- Work with our data team to guide procedures and interpret outcomes.
- Work with our legal team to ensure proper documentation for defensibility of pymetrics’ products.
- Assist in the development of new tools and assessments as needed.
- Reinforce the company’s thought-leadership initiatives within the I/O Psychology community.
REQUIREMENTS

- Registered Psychologist (In AU this requires AHPRA registration), preferably with either Masters or PhD in Industrial-Organisational Psychology.
- Experience consulting to clients as part of solution design
- Ideally experience with analytics and working knowledge of R
- Open-mindedness and excitement about improving the way “it’s always been done.”
- Comfort in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Comfort working with a virtual team.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with experts from other fields
