NIRx Medizintechnik GmbH is looking to hire an organized, resourceful, and highly-motivated professional for the position of Scientific Consultant.

Our Berlin office is part of a small but rapidly-growing international neuroscience research solutions company headquartered in Los Angeles, USA. We specialize in high-end hardware and software used in brain imaging research.

You will be part of a young, dynamic and very international team and in constant contact with academia. You will be listening to the neuroscience community and advising them on the best NIRx solution for their research goals. You will be providing feedback to product development based on the needs of the research world.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about science, but does not necessarily want to stay in academia. Our ideal candidate should have a deep understanding and passion for fNIRS research and have experience with designing and conducting experiments and a basic understanding of data analysis. We are looking for someone who is a great communicator and a true team player.

Requirements

• • Master’s/Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering or related field
  • Experience working in neuroimaging; EEG, fMRI, and/or fNIRS would be preferred
  • Outgoing personality that likes (or at least doesn’t mind) presenting to large groups
  • Willingness to travel, up to 50% in Fall and Spring (our high seasons)
  • Attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, solutions-oriented mindset
  • A love of science and openness to loving fNIRS!
  • Relocation to Berlin, Germany
