JOB DESCRIPTION:

At OpenBCI we are building the next generation of low-cost, high-quality human-computer interfaces. We are a growing team of ambitious entrepreneurs, engineers, designers, and scientists. We are on the lookout for a highly motivated junior business development specialist with an interest in applying his/her writing, marketing, and research skills on business expansion, tech troubleshooting, and operations-related projects. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Manage customer satisfaction and communication platforms
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations to streamline workflow and company logistics
  • Identify areas of business inefficiency and implement solutions
  • Wear many hats. OpenBCI is a start-up, so everyone has to get their hands dirty from time to time. We are a team!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• • Bachelor’s degree from a top university
  • Very strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience with all operating systems (MacOS/Windows/Linux).
  • Interest in biotechnology and biosensing research and desire to learn more
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and well-organized.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to identify and solve problems across teams and an open source community.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• • Bilingual/facile with business and tech vocabulary in a second language
  • Experience working with Google Suite
  • Experience with Github, HTML, and Excel
