We are currently seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

TASKS/SERVICES.
The contractor shall:

- Maintain the NIMH MEG Core Facility computing infrastructure in compliance with NIMH and DHHS security requirements.
- Develop scripts to automate data processing pipelines.
- Work with staff on the management and development of data analysis software written in C.
- Develop an automated QA pipeline with web interface to process daily/weekly quality control data and publish diagnostics to a website.
- Work with staff on conducting educational courses on basic scientific computing, data analysis scripts and pipelines.
- Provide direct support to NIMH researchers using MEG Core Facility software tools.
- Carry out system administration tasks in a Linux environment, including networking, backups, updates, and initial setup.
- Ensure all MEG Core Facility Linux computing infrastructure is in compliance with evolving security protocols.
- Provide computing support to NIMH MEG Core Facility staff.
REQUIREMENTS.
The contractor must have:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline; OR Master’s degree in Neuroscience with experience with computer programming; three (3) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a Master’s degree.
- Skill in modern programming languages including C and Python.
- Experience with software development in an open source environment, with the use of version control software such as git.
- Skill in training others on technical topics.
- Knowledge of PHP and SQL preferred.
- Experience with computer hardware configuration.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
