At MindX, we’re combining neurotechnology, augmented reality and artificial intelligence to create a “look-and-think” interface for next-generation spatial computing applications.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You have demonstrated capability in implementing signal processing and machine learning algorithms and a broad toolset with which to extract information from neural signals, ideally in real-time
- You have extensive experience working with neurophysiological and behavioral data and associated data acquisition systems
- You write professional-grade software code
- You enjoy contributing to the design and execution of laboratory experiments
SKILLS FOR THE JOB
- Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, Neuroscience or related field; Doctorate preferred
- 5+ years experience in neural engineering
- Highly proficient in at least one programming language commonly used for real-time neural signal processing and decoding, such as Python or C++
BONUS POINTS FOR
- Experience working with real-time brain-computer interfaces
- Formal training or education in neuroscience and data science
- Developing and maintaining software within a professional engineering organization
- Designing and executing neurophysiological research studies
- Experience working in interdisciplinary and multi-institutional teams
- Experience working on research projects with focused goals and tight deadlines, such as in a private institution or as a contractor on a sponsored project
