Founded in 2013, BioBeats has developed revolutionary AI algorithms and software based on evidence-based stress management to target wellbeing in the workplace, with investments from Oxford Sciences Innovation, Samsung NEXT, AXA/PPP, IQCapital and Luminous Ventures.
We are looking for a full-time UI/UX designer, well-versed in the fundamentals of experience design, who will play a key role in creating intuitive solutions for complex problems, transforming ideas into a concrete UI with a polished aesthetic, and prizing clarity of communication over visual flourish.
In this role you will:

- Define user interface and experience problems and solve them using an evidence-based approach.
- Collaborate closely with the product and technical teams to create compelling design solutions.
- Translate business and functional requirements into sketches, mock-ups and screen designs.
- Create useful interfaces for complex systems that stand up to rigorous testing.
- Work closely with developers to ensure ideas can be brought to life.
- Monitor user engagement and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Serve as a valued consultant to our clients.
REQUIREMENTS

- A deep passion and proven ability to design useful digital experiences honed through 2+ years of experience.
- Evidence that you can create and extend a coherent design system.
- A commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.
- Pride and proactivity in communicating your design ideas and process clearly.
- Proficient with UI/UX best practices and modern design trends.
- Experience creating wireframes, storyboards and user flows.
- A mastery of your design tools (Adobe Illustrator/XD/Photoshop, Sketch, Zeplin, etc.).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- A basic understanding of front-end development and technology.
- English language proficiency.
