We’re looking for a data scientist with a background in Physiology. In this role you will:

- The candidate will analyse physiological data, in particular data collected from wearable devices (heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, daily steps), with the purpose of developing mathematical model;
- Data Analytics, Statistics, Predictive Modelling on datasets exploring the psychobiology of stress;
- Understanding, analysing and quantifying data analysis requirements, hands-on testing;
- Work in autonomy in a distributed team;
- Produce reports and present the outcome of the research to the rest of the team;
- Support the UI/UX designers into defining the product features based on data.
REQUIREMENTS

- MSc and/or PhD level degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, or similar;
- Experience in practically applied methods from data analysis;
- Strong experience in programming for data analysis
- Experience with python, jupyter and pandas preferred;
- Committed to building a strong evidence base and scientific dissemination as will be expected to contribute (and sometimes steer) on publications;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Can work autonomously on given tasks with minimal reviews by manager;
- Frequent travelling to the Pisa office.
